Organ Spectacular! On Sunday, October 19, Elon Community Church celebrated Organ Spectacular! during the traditional morning worship service. The organ was moved into the chancel area, highlighting the many roles that the organ and organ music play during a worship service. Our organist, Mark Rumley, was joined by soloists, a harpist, a trumpeter, the chancel choir, and handbells to provide meaningful worship through various musical offerings. Tracing the organ’s history in church music, demonstrating what actually happens during playing and performances, and focusing on the varying roles of music in our own worship services are just some of the events that were associated with Organ Spectacular! at Elon Community Church. Music Programs

Chancel Choir: An integral part of the weekly worship service. Rehearsals are every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. High school age and beyond are welcome. Contact Darla Bray if you are interested.

Children's Choir: Elementary through middle school age. Rehearse as needed for participation in upcoming church services. Contact Ken Sheldon if you are interested.

Chime Choir: K - 4th grades

Beginning Bells: 3rd - 5th grades

ECC Young Ringers: 6th - 10th grades

Chancel Ringers I: Inter-generational level 2+ music

Chancel Ringers II: Inter-generational level 2+ through 3+/4 music

Handbell Ensemble: Inter-generational

Hand bell Trio: Advanced group.
