PFLAG:
PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) of Alamance County Meets the second Tuesday of each month in at 7:30 p.m. in the Gregory Library. The PFLAG support group welcomes all family and friends, as well as gays and lesbians and transgenders themselves. PFLAG offers a safe confidential space in which to explore feelings and understandings about the gay experience, especially "coming out" and what this means to families and other loved ones. Listen and share as much or as little as you feel comfortable, knowing that others can understand. PFLAG offers a library of educational materials for parents, siblings, spouses, for gays and lesbians, and for organizations which are striving to be more sensitive.
